This summer has been all about slowing down, embracing the simple moments, and learning to appreciate the beauty in unexpected places—like rainy days. There’s something so peaceful about standing still, feeling warm raindrops on my skin, and listening to the soft rumble of thunder. These moments, like standing under grey clouds feeling a soft summer rain, reminds me to breathe deeply and truly live in the present. It’s a kind of mindfulness I’ve come to treasure, especially as I grow older and learn to see the world through a calmer, more grateful lens.
Finding my creative voice
As a woman in my 50s, I’m still working on finding my voice through video—exploring what feels authentic to me. It’s a journey, balancing creativity with the desire to stay true to who I am, but I’m loving the process.
There’s something so freeing about embracing my slower life and sharing that with others.
This summer I’ve been gathering a lot of footage, capturing my summer, some in a little different kind of way than I have been doing before. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be editing and releasing some of this content, and I can’t wait for you to see it.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me! I hope my videos will inspire you to find your own creativity and your inner peace too.
