It’s already September. Autumn is here. These last weeks I’ve started to feel that the air is different. The warm winds have faded and become a bit chillier and crisp. Autumn has started to make her entry and a long summer has come to an end.
Early this summer I bought myself an Apple Watch. I wanted to start moving again. It’s so easy to forget about time and stare in to a computer screen all day. Especially when you work most of your time from home. Alone. Having this watch has really helped me with my goal. It reminds me to not sitt still too long, and makes me more eager to put on my shoes and take my walks. But I’ve turned most of the watch notifications off. Like I have done with most of the notifications on my phone. Why add stress when it’s not needed? I want to decide when to check my emails and social media, not the other way around. Social media is still a love hate relationship for me. I’m glad to say that I’ve spent far less time on social media this summer than I did this last spring.
My every day walks, since before midsummer, have made me feel relaxed and grounded. To feel the fresh air trough my lungs every morning is a great start of the day. Those minutes each day, I have no worries in my mind. I feel relaxed and happy, and my heart sings on full volume. I’ve also been taking time to go out in the woods when I have felt a bit overwhelmed and stressed with work. I have nature right on my doorstep so why not taking the time to feel good?
I feel relaxed and exited to make art again. I’ve already made some new portraits but I want to sit on them for a while before I share them with the world.
And one more thing. As Autumn always comes with changes, I thought that a little makeover of my website was needed this fall. So I made some changes. A new theme, some new photos and a updated gallery page. What do you think about the new updated site?
