This year I started doing Youtube videos around photography, creativity and art in different forms. Even if I have photographed for many years. To shoot videos is a new and different kind of experience with different skill sets and challenges.
And I’m learning a lot from each video i shoot. Like How to use my new video camera better and different video settings like fps (frames per second). I’m learning about sound recording and story telling. Also editing the footage with Premiere Pro (audio dialog, spx, and sound effects).
Videography is a different kind of art form from photography. Story telling in video is far different than in still photography. And speaking in my third language – English is strange. Because my native language is Swedish (but I also speak Finnish). But you can always shoot a scene agin if needed.
Right now I have made videos about Fine art, poems, my studio and also some cinematic nature videos. And I’m I enjoy this learning experience as I’m finding my voice in this new for me craft.
